The Master of Arts (MA) degree is designed for individuals seeking to further develop and deepen their skills as educators, as well as those future leaders in education who plan to go on to do further work and research in the field of education.
Note: The MA is not accepting applications at this time.

College and University Teaching Certificate provides 12 credits of 专业 development for college teachers who have no specific training in the craft of teaching. It also provides students in graduate programs the opportunity to be trained in teaching at the university level if they desire to seek a position as a faculty member in 机构s 高等教育.

The Education Specialist (EdS) degree is designed for individuals seeking advanced positions in K-12 schools and other learning organizations.

The PhD in 课程 and Instruction is a research-oriented degree designed for individuals who wish to work in higher education or in curriculum and instruction research.

MA: This 32-credit program can typically be completed by full-time students in one and a half years.
College and University Teaching Certificate: This 12-credit certificate can typically be completed in two years taking one course per semester.
EdS: This 32-credit program can typically be completed by full-time students in two years.
PhD: This 60+ credit program can typically be completed by full-time students in six years.

Prospective students must submit their applications by the dates listed below.

Fall (August–December): July 15
Spring (January–May): November 15
Summer Session 1 (May–June): April 1
Summer Session 2 (June–July): May 1
Summer Session 3 (July–August): June 1

入学 REQUIREMENTS

The MA requires a bachelor's degree (or non-U.S. 当量) from an accredited 机构 and a minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.60.
The College and University Teaching Certificate requires a master’s degree (or non-U.S. 当量).
The doctoral programs require a master’s degree (or non-U.S. 当量) from an accredited 机构 and minimum graduate GPA of 3.急诊20个，或者3个.博士30分. Official transcripts from all schools where undergraduate or graduate courses were taken are required.
Two recommendations for the MA and three for the EdS and PhD. Recommenders may be advisors, major professors or employers.
Resume describing employment, research, or special projects.
Statement of Purpose reflecting your philosophical perspective, 个人, 专业, 以及学术目标, and reasons for seeking the graduate program.
托福考试, IELTS or PTE (academic): 学生 whose language of education is not English must submit English proficiency test scores.
GRE General test from exam taken within five years- required only for doctoral programs.
